About Us
Junior Achievement (JA) inspires and prepares youth to succeed by providing them with opportunities to learn financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness skills. Through our proven, school-board approved programs, JA provides real-world experiences, important career connections and prepares youth grades three to 12 for the jobs of tomorrow.
With youth unemployment at an all-time high, our mission is more important than ever before. JA’s programs present engaging and interactive ways for students to help build the skills employers seek.
JA students benefit from real-world work experience and know-how, transforming their knowledge, skills, attitudes and aspirations as they build toward successful careers, prepare for the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship, and learn to thrive financially.
Mission
Inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
Vision
Young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.
