Building a Stronger Future

JA charters across Ontario have received a grant from the Government of Ontario. This grant has as its main goal to Build a Stronger Future. With this grant, students will learn to combine the skills learned in specialized trades and technology classes with entrepreneurship skills learned with JA Company and build their own company.

Junior Achievement is organizing exciting online events to connect high school youth aged 15-18 with skilled trades and technology career pathways. Students will learn about the amazing skilled trade and technology sector, hear from industry experts and learn how they can build a rewarding career in a range of growing industries.

BUILDING A STRONGER FUTURE

With more than 50 hours of Programming, JA’s Company Program teaches grades 9 to 12 students how to organize and operate a real business. With the help of volunteers from the local business community, students will design, manage and liquidate a business as they learn to launch and run a small enterprise. Students will gain business confidence and experience as this hands-on program empowers them to become Canada’s future CEOs.
