A JA program for grades 3 to 6
Financial literacy can never start too early. In fact, the earlier students learn to manage their money, the greater chance they have at lifelong financial success.
More than Money is an interactive program designed to teach young learners how to manage their money in a fun and engaging way. Students will learn why proper money management is important and how their financial choices can impact others, enabling them to be confident in growing up to make smart financial decisions.
A JA program for grades 7 to 9
Through JA’s Dollars with Sense program, students gain the vital tools they need to make smart financial decisions, live debt-free and become savvy investors. Students learn money-management skills to become financially aware — starting now as young spenders.
Using interactive games and tools, Dollars with Sense makes learning fun, boosting students’ engagement and confidence.

Canadian youth are growing up in a time in which spending is easier than ever and debt is a way of life.
JA’s Personal Finance program teaches key money-management skills, including smart spending, budgeting, saving and using credit. Students learn key elements of personal finance by participating in fun, relevant activities they can apply to lifelong financial success.

JA’s Investment Strategies program (ISP) teaches students how to save and invest for the future. The program includes both interactive classroom lessons and an online stock market simulation, Invest JA, where students manage their own simulated stock portfolio. The simulation is linked to live data from North American stock markets and is an exciting, risk-free way for students to apply the investing principles they learn in the program.
