Year after year, JA-NEO (Junior Achievement Northern and Eastern Ontario) hosts their Business Hall of Fame (BHF), celebrating visionary business leaders in the Peterborough community. Inductees are selected for their lasting contributions to economic development locally and they embody a legacy of excellence, displaying unwavering commitment, leadership, and innovation throughout their illustrious careers. Beyond their remarkable business achievements, these individuals serve as inspiring role models and mentors to the students benefited by JA-NEO’s programs.

The selection process involves public nominations, with candidates reviewed by an independent committee comprising members from JA-NEO’s Board of Governors, local business leaders, and past BHF laureates.

The BHF event not only honours outstanding individuals but also serves as a platform for JA-NEO to engage volunteers, investors, and partners. By generating proceeds, the event supports JA-NEO’s mission to deliver financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs at no cost to students or schools. The crucial backing facilitates the continued success of every JA-NEO student, addressing the growing demand for essential skills in today’s competitive landscape.
